Teaser Tuesday: "Nights at the Circus"

Welcome to one of my favourite memes - Teaser Tuesday!

TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

- Grab your current read.
- Let the book fall open to a random page.
- Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page.
- You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
- Please avoid spoilers!

Send me a comment so I can check out your teaser. Mine is from "Nights at the Circus" by Angela Carter:

"He smiled to himself at the paradox: in a secular age, an authentic miracle must purpot to be a hoax, in order to gain credit in the world."

  1. A great teaser, amazing how much can be learnt about a book in so few words.

My current read is Shiny Pennies & Grubby Pinafores, a memoir by Winnifred Foley. my teasers from page 94.

"I tried to picture this miniature whirish at home."
"Had a stroke in the cowshed and was gone before the doctor could get to us, and 'im only fifty-two."
